HeyBiz, a shopping assistant app, has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from ShopClues.
The investment from ShopClues will be used towards enhancing the product further along with expanding its market base in cities across India.
Launched in January 2015 by Bhartesh Chhibbar, HeyBiz, is a mobile application which connects local customers with local businesses by its Sales-Marketing-Support (SMS) mobile platform through real-time chat. The app is available on Android and iOS platforms with no cost.
Bhartesh said, “We will specifically aim at improving our product offering while seeking new affiliations. We intend to expand into newer geographies like Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Lucknow and Jaipur.”
Bhartesh added that ShopClues and HeyBiz have common brand ideologies and vision, which is why the company aims to make HeyBiz a one-stop mobile shop for users and a market leader in the Sales-Marketing-Support platform.
Sanjay Sethi, CEO & Cofounder of ShopClues said, “The ease to use the app and the reliable information that it accumulates and disseminates about businesses, makes it a promising venture that is only likely to grow in the future. So, we decided to lend this 10-month old company the financial impetus that can really enhance its reach and operations.”
