Continuing its startup journey in the celebrity brand wagon, Bollywood actor Salman Khan has launched an ecommerce website KhanMarketOnline.com.

Salman has already been retailing products for his fashion brand Being Human through standalone stores, department stores and ecommerce websites. With KhanMarketOnline.com, the actor has forayed the ecommerce business in a full-fledged way through his company Salman Khan Ventures.

However, what exactly it will offer customers is still under curtains.

Actor Salman Khan is also an investor in OTA firm Yatra.

The bollywood industry has lots of veterans who are smitten by the startup bug. Our very own Big B has stocked money in cloud storage service startup, Ziddu. Besides Kunal Kapoor backed crowdfunding platform Ketto, Madhuri Dixit invested in fitness device Goqii, Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan funded online ticketing site Ticketplease, Shilpa Shetty invested in home buying site GroupHomeBuyers and BabyOye which is acquired by Mahindra Group and received funding from Karisma Kapoor, Gul Panag has invested in health and fitness mobile apps, MobieFit.

There are more to the list which even includes bollywood actress Neha Dhupia and Malaika Arora Khan who launched ecommerce fashion stores HerStyle and Label Corp respectively.
