SAIF Partners has announced the appointment of Alok Goel as Managing Director who is widely regarded as an advisor and product guy. Prior to this development, he was heading Freecharge as the CEO and was COO of redBus. He will be looking over early stage investments at SAIF.

On this development he said that SAIF Partners has one of the finest portfolios in the industry today and he is excited to be a part of its team to use his expertise to help early stage companies become world class businesses. Alok Goel has an eclectic experience as he has worked at Google for five years where he was product manager for Google Display network. He was named in Fortune India’s ’40 Under 40’ List in March 2015
