Just a few months after raising $5 Mn in its Series A round from Tiger Global, Gurgaon-based, Roposo has raised another round of funding. Tiger Global has invested over $15 Mn in a new round of funding in this fashion discovery startup.
Roposo is owned by Relevant e-solutions Pvt. Ltd. and was founded by IIT Delhi alumnus, Mayank Bhangadia, Avinash Saxena (ex CTO of Zomato.com) and Kaushal Shubhank. It is an unique fashion discovery platform that employs a proprietary recommendation engine to match shoppers. The platform offers fashion choices from across 200 web stores and 4,000 brands with categories ranging from apparel, footwear, accessories and lingerie. All of these products are curated and recommended to each user as per their individual taste.
The company claims to have over 1 Mn active users.
Before raising its Series A round in March this year from Tiger, Indian Quotient and Binny Bansal, Roposo had earlier raised undisclosed amount of funds from India Quotient, 5 Ideas Startup Superfuel and Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal in June last year.
The company plans to invest these funds in building a stronger team of global standards, reinforcement of the technological infrastructure, enhancing and revamping the product.
