Retention.ai, Startup That Helps App Developers Analyze & Retain App Users Gets Funding To Fuel Expansion In US & Japan

T-Labs backed Retention.ai, a startup helping app developers analyse users and retain them better, has received undisclosed amount in a funding round led by  Houston based Mercury Fund, with participation from angel investors like Anshu Sharma (Ex-VP Salesforce, Venture Partner Storm Ventures), Pratyush Prasanna (Ex-VP PayTM), Robert Winters (Managing Director DaVinci Capital, Ex-Managing Director Rocket Ventures) and some other undisclosed angels in India and US.

The startup has kept the amount of funding undisclosed, however, according to ET, in this round Retention.ai has raised over $502k (INR 3.2 Cr.)

Bangalore-based Retention.ai was co-founded by IIT-KGP  alumnis Abhimanyu Dikshit, Amritanshu Anand, Anshul Singhle, Manan Shah in 2013. Retention.ai (Formerly BetaGlide) is an uninstall intelligence platform for mobile apps, which allows app developers and marketers to track uninstalled users and understand their behaviour.

It is already live on more than 15M mobile devices and is working with some of the biggest apps in India. Understanding the user persona to personalize the marketing activities and increase the retention by 28% and with Retention.ai’s platform, the process becomes smooth and easy.

“This funding is a great vote to confidence in Retention.ai’s vision of enabling predictive marketing and understanding user persona for personalizing the user experience and increasing retention for mobile app companies,” said Amritanshu Anand, Co-founder of Retention.ai. “The additional funding will also be used to fuel expansion in US and Japan,” he added.
