Real estate advisory Square Yards has merged with online search & discovery platform, realizing.in. The entire team of Realizing.in would join Square Yards, with its founders, Vivek Agarwal and Hitesh Singla, joining Square Yards executive committee as partners.
Realizing.in portal would be rechristened as Square Yards and the group would continue to build research and knowledge capital capabilities under Realizing brand to ultimately evolve it into a Big Data Analytics platform for global real estate.
Gurgaon-based Square Yards was founded by Tanuj Shori in 2013. It is an real estate advisory for residential properties. Growing at a scorching pace, it has established presence in 20 cities and 5 countries across the globe within a short span of 18 months. With its excellent working relationships with more than 500 A grade developers in India, US, UK, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Canada, Bulgaria, Mongolia and UAE, Square Yards has already facilitated real estate transactions in excess of US$ 350 Million. Square Yards enjoys a virtual monopoly in offering real estate advisory services to the NRI/PIO diaspora.
Talking about the merger, Square Yards’s CEO and Co-Founder, Tanuj Shori said, “With Square Yards already leading the transactional space having become leading pan India player in just 18 months since start up, pseudo monopoly in NRI markets, and having transacted USD350mn worth of real estate since start of its operations; the joining of Realizing team adds the much needed technology bandwidth to achieve larger scale.”
He also added, that in a bid to build global project portfolio capabilities, we would continue to look for interesting opportunities in regions like Asia Pacific and Middle East to further augment our global product offerings.
