Noida-based Poshtick, a health & wellness startup, has raised $450K funding from two HNIs, Bhavya Sharma and Amit Nagar.
Founded in 2016 by Pranav Sharma and Kritik Thakur, Poshtick offers a combination of functional, nutritional, and value-added food products providing end-to-end health solutions.
“Poshtick intends to be a one-stop shop for all ‘health and wellness’ needs. Our aim is to create pocket-friendly healthy snack options and make them accessible and available for the masses. Also, we are giving a lot of emphasis on consumer education and want to create a community of educated consumers,” said Pranav Sharma, Founder & CEO, Poshtick.
The funding will be utilised for product development, developing human resource capabilities and making an effective supply chain mechanism.
Poshtick is building an end-to-end solution for the people who lead busy lives and don’t have time to work out in the gyms or indulge in physical sports activities to keep themselves fit. Its first product called ‘The Finge Box’ is a combination of fitness and binge, which is a calorie- and portion-defined, mid-meal snacking solution.
The Poshtick app is in the development stage and will be launched early next year. The company is building its online presence, and is planning to establish its retail presence in the metro cities like Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
Earlier this week, Bengaluru-based healthtech startup Grow Fit entered the functional beverages field with the acquisition of Drink King. The cash and stock deal was executed for an undisclosed consideration. Other players in this segment include Bengaluru-based Jiyo Natural, a startup that offers personalised nutritionally balanced, calorie monitored and chemical free food; Sattviko, WIMWI Foods, InnerChef, etc.
