Ecommerce marketplace Snapdeal will now also sell pizza on its platform. It has tied up with Pizza Hut to launch its two new pizza offerings through its platform. The pizzas are available at Pizza Hut outlets and will be available for deliveries only at Snapdeal till today.

Snapdeal users will be allowed to pre-order the new variant online i.e, Cheese Maxx pizzas, by paying a flat amount of INR 100, which will be adjusted against the final order placed at the Pizza Hut outlet. The pre-order offering is available for Snapdeal customers till today and includes discounts of upto 50%.

Ecommerce marketplaces have gone far beyond electronics, fashion, beauty & wellness and home utility brands. They have now been selling medicines, diapers, incense sticks, kiranas, cars, bikes and now pizaas.

The three well-known players in the marketplace front viz Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon have been competing with each other. Be it a discount sale, advertisement, or increasing the category sale, the three ecommerce marketplace are fighting head-on-head with each other. Where on one side Flipkart and Snapdeal recently launched selling of motorcycles and cars on its platform, on the other side Amazon and Ebay are offering cow dung patties, which apparently are selling in huge numbers already.
