Health and fitness start up which is to be launched next year, CureFit, has raised $15 Mn from Accel Partners, IDG Ventures and Kalaari Capital.

The startup was started by former Myntra and Flipkart executives Mukesh Bansal and Ankit Nagori. The two resigned in February 2016 and teamed up to launch a startup in the area of healthcare, and sports and fitness, in March this year.

Mukesh Bansal said, “Healthcare is one of the largest growing segments in India. We aim to build an innovative product which will help the consumers manage their health proactively with heavy use of technology and data.”

According to Ankit, there are multiple service offerings available in the market in a fragmented manner. However, none of them lets users manage their health needs end to end. CureFit is an end to end solution that will enable users to take full control of their health to improve the quality of life and reduce long term healthcare costs.

CureFit plans to be a combination of engagement, coaching and delivery through a mix of online and offline channels addressing curative healthcare.

Mukesh has been an active investor. He has invested in a fitness startup focused on training programmes without using traditional gym equipment Cult.
