Bangalore-based healthcare provider discovery app, Medinfi, has raised an undisclosed amount in fourth round of it’s angel funding from investors like Rajnish Sinha, senior vice president of Genpact and others, reported ET. Existing investors including Ram Kumar Kakani, a professor at XLRI, also participated in this round.

Founded in 2014 by Ravi Shankar Mishra, Medinfi, helps users locate the nearest doctors and hospitals for check-ups, however due to no tie-ups with either doctors or hospitals, it does not book appointments. The startup aims to create pure-play contact platform for helping users to choose the right doctors and hospitals through genuine and trustworthy information.

Currently, Medinfi’s app has 5000 downloads and is operational in Bangalore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Noida, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai with data on over 7000 verified doctors and hospitals.

The startup will use the raised capital for launching its iOS mobile application, apart from expanding its operations to 13 Indian cities in coming months. “Medinfi will continue to empower users by offering trusted information for regular health check-ups,” said Ravi Shankar Mishra, CEO of Medinfi.

Earlier in December, the company raised about $150K (INR 1 Cr.) in a fresh round of angel funding from four new investors.
