This new online destination will bring together Mashable’s mission of inspiring, informing and entertaining its global community about how digital and technology are changing the world partnering with India.com’s strength in generating original content for Indian audiences and widespread reach in the Indian digital space.

Mashable India will have a dedicated editorial team based out of Mumbai and New Delhi for localised content. The URL of the India edition remains the same, as the site will showcase India-specific stories to users from this region.

The company in India plans to offer global coverage from Mashable.com and augment it with extensive editorial coverage from the country.

Mashable stands out for its branded content that produces articles, community challenges run across social accounts and video through Mashable Studios, etc. By partnering with India.com, the company aims at establishing its attributes in India quickly, authentically and at scale.

India.com Web Portal currently publishes original content destinations that reach out to over 50 Mn unique visitors per month.
