LetsVenture Launches Tinder-Like App For Investors To Discover, Co-Invest And Fund Startups On The Go

LetsVenture has launched a mobile app for investors to discover co-invest and fund startups on the move. The announcement was made at the ongoing conference LetsIgnite event, designed for investors to meet like-minded peers, interact with pre-screened, cutting edge startups.

The app is available on Android and iOS platform.

Through the newly launched app, investors can:

  1. Discover over 7000 startups on LetsVenture, based on their preferences
  2. Connect directly with founders by swiping right to begin a conversation
  3. Co-Invest with friends

LetsVenture was founded in May 2013 by Shanti Mohan and Sanjay Jha. It is a marketplace for startup funding, enables startups looking to raise seed/angel funding to create investment ready profiles online, and connect to accredited Investors.

Ratan Tata and TV Mohandas Pai backed LetsVenture presently has over 7300 connections and over 1400 investors on its platform. According to company stats, more than 60 startups have raised funds on LetsVenture, aggregating to nearly $18 Mn. The platform is currently free for investors, and charges 2% of the raised funds as fee. In last 2 years, across 60+ deals it has engaged with more than 400+ Investors from 6+ countries.

Earlier in January 2016, SavvyMob, an online marketplace that offers last-minute hotel bookings to customers, raised about $1 Mn in a seed round of funding led by former Infosys veteran, TV Mohandas Pai and Let’sVenture.
