Cisco Launches LaunchPad To Accelerate Indian Tech Startups

IT giant Cisco has launched a startup accelerator LaunchPad to bring together Cisco technologies, startups and the developer community to deliver business relevant end-to-end Digital Solutions.

LaunchPad is more than an Accelerator, it’s an opportunity to be part of an innovation ecosystem. In addition to technology and business mentorship, LaunchPad offers startups a worldwide Go-To-Market engine to validate and scale innovative ideas.

The LaunchPad will be a four-month program is open to early-stage technology and technology-enabled startups. The program will mainly focus on areas like Networking and Infrastructure, Collaboration, Security, IoT, and Video. Additionally, enabling technologies like Analytics, Cloud, Machine Learning/Deep Learning/Natural Language Processing, Visualization/UX, Virtual Reality, Smart Things, and Last Mile Connectivity will also be considered.

4-6 startups will be selected for each cohort. It will run out of the Cisco Campus at Cessna Business Park, Bangalore. The program includes co-working space, workshops, speaker sessions, mentorship program, and investor/industry connects. Startups will also have access to industry leading Cisco technology platforms in Wireless/Mobility, IoT, Collaboration, Security, Networking, and Cloud. The program will end with a demo day.

The program will culminate with a Demo Day where startups will present their idea and demonstrate to Cisco leadership, prominent investors, and industry experts. The graduating startups are enrolled in the Cisco Startup Program’s Alumni Network.
