Gurgaon-based concierge service startup, JoeHukum, has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding led by TracxnLabs along with other angel investors including Jitendra Gupta-founder of Citrus Payments and Prashant Tandon-founder of HealthKart, now 1MG.

Besides, the company is already in advanced talks for it’s next round of funding.

The startup will use the raised capital to expand into more cities and launch its own payment solution.

Joe Hukum, formerly known as GoGetSpeedy, has been operational since July 2015. The startup founders Arihant Jain, Ajeet Kushwaha and Rahul Agarwal hail from the founding team of health tech startup HealthKart. They have also been associated with the launch of other startups like MuscleBlaze and Phyzo.

Joe Hukum is a chat-based order taking and fulfilment platform that helps customers do their routine tasks through a personalised chat on the app. The platform provides a gamut of services ranging from local shopping, pick and drop, food, repairs, movie/ event tickets, travel, restaurant reservations, taxi, flowers, cakes, recharge, bill payments, groceries and more.

With its chat-based personal assistance, Joe Hukum is disrupting the $750 Bn industry, which counts startups like Helpchat, Lookup, Haptik and Goodservice under its domain.

According to Neha Singh, co-founder, Tracxn, “Most of the companies offering local services/home services is still a part of the vast unorganised and fragmented market. Consumers, today are looking for convenience and flexibility to get their routine work done at the click of a button.”

However, Joe Hukum endeavours to provide its customers with a uniform access to a variety of services through chat along with a centralised payment option. With this focus, Joe is looking to spearhead the use of automation technology within the conversational commerce space to take care of the entire process – from request to fulfilment.

Neha added that Joe Hukum through its AI technology is looking to automate the entire cycle of ordering and delivery to enable faster and hassle free transaction. This could be the next step towards evolution for the concierge services market in which Joe Hukum is spearheading the vision.

The startup claims that with Joe Hukum as a platform, the customers can complete the entire order within 60 seconds and perform repeat transactions with just a click, within 5 seconds. Also, the startup aims to provide a personalised and adaptive catalogue to their customers.

Ajeet Kushwaha, co-founder of Joe Hukum said, “Conversational commerce is going to offer Convenience 2.0, which will be better and bigger than Convenience 1.0 offered by ecommerce.”

Joe Hukum is presently operational in Delhi-NCR, however, it is also getting transactions from other cities as well. The app is available on Android and iOS platform.

Operating in the same domain, Helpchat raised over $16 Mn (INR 100 Cr.) in Series B round led by Sequoia in May 2015.
