Delhi-based healthcare startup Imedilane has raised $40K in a funding round from angel investors Mahendra Patel, an ex-army officer, and businessman Nilender Chauhan.
Telemedicine focused Imedilane was founded by Shakti Anand, a former military engineering service officer and IIM-Bangalore alumnus, along with his wife Khushboo Anand.
Imedilane’s unique initiative is helping patient to save the time and money from travelling very far. It removes the hassle of finding places to stay and provides service to speak with right doctors via video call, email consultation and tele calling (with or without Internet).
Besides, Imedilane also provides software to doctors through which they can manage the clinics better, interact on social media platform, and save time for their critical patients.
The startup is currently focusing on tier II and tier III cities of India and has also started rendering its service for the International patients for customise consultant service. Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Go Global, Imedilane plans to target African and UAE market.
Presently, Imedilane has started the operation with a team of over 120 doctors based out of Delhi and has reach out to more than 8,000 user in last few weeks. With this, the startup is also looking to promote medical tourism in India.
