Delhi-based home health care service startup, Healers At Home, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Daljit Singh (President, Fortis Healthcare), Dr. Pramath Raj Sinha (Founder, ISB), BVR Mohan Reddy (Chairman at NASSCOM & Director on the Board of Hyderabad Angels) and a few more angel investors.

Founded in June 2014, Healers At Home, provides customers an easy access to affordable yoga & physiotherapy home services.

Besides, Delhi-based coworking space provider, 91springboard, also played an integral role in the growth story for the healthcare startup.

Speaking on the development, Kshitij Garg, founder of Healers At Home said, “The plan is to become the market leader in the current set of services and introduce nursing in near future.”

The startup will use the funding to expand its team and add more services to its offerings, in order to grow tenfold in the next year.

“Healers At Home is on the cusp of carving out a niche for themselves in the home healthcare and wellness space. I am excited that their dedication and passion is matched by their strong execution capability!” said Daljit Singh, President at Fortis Healthcare.

Kshitij Garg, founder of Healers at Home, had personally suffered severe back pain during the course of pursuing his education and the formative years at his work place. Frequent visits to doctor became necessary along with being a hurdle due to hectic work schedule. This inconvenience became the source of inspiration and origin for Healers at Home.

Recently, in the home care service space, Mumbai-based home healthcare startup, Care24, raised about $350K in a funding round from India Quotient. Few other biggies operating in this segment include Accel and IFC backed Portea while players like Apollo Hospitals, Dabur and Medwell Ventures are also operating in this segment.
