Mumbai-based errand-running and same day delivery service startup, GetMyPeon has secured around $250,000 (INR 1.5 Cr) in seed funding after being bootstrapped for two and half year.
GetMyPeon was started with a capital of just $315 (INR 20,000), it is a quick on demand service that receives orders over mail, call, whats app or tweets. The startup provides name any service from delivering vada-pav to assisting in a clinic, picking up cakes, parcel, gifts, wedding cards, couriers, bike for servicing or receiving guests at Airport/Railway station.
Founded in 2012 by Bharat Ahirwar, GetMyPeon claims to be the only errand-running service in Mumbai, Thane & Vashi. The startup provides professional, affordable and trustworthy services to over 1000 clients, gaining high levels of customer satisfaction and trust in return.
The startup plans to invest the funds in building technology infrastructure, hiring field executives, building mobile platform and expanding to different geographies. Ahirwar further plans to scale up these service operations to greater heights with the funding received.
