After the hurried acquisition of Jabong, Flipkart has gone the extra mile to enhance user experience by introducing two customer-friendly services called Fliptech and Hobby Hub.

Fliptech claims to be a curated product guide that covers content across various sections under the website with latest launches and various electronics. It comes equipped to showcase diverse content features and recommendations, aiming to cater to the users by providing them with a customised experience.

To engage with customers across various areas of interest, Flipkart has also introduced Hobby Hub. It aims at developing a direct platform by helping users learn more about their interests and hobbies and thereby directing them to purchase items based on these preferences. It claims at simplifying purchasing and directs users to best offers on shortlisted products.

VP, Electronics and Auto, Adarsh Menon said, “Studying the customer buying patterns, we observed that more than 50% buyers believe in background research before finalising on a product and this trend is across all categories.” According to an official statement, the two new features aim to aid end-to-end customer shopping experience.

Fliptech and Hobby Hub are currently accessible under the store section of the app and website.
