Kolkata-based startup Eazy Coach, a personal mentoring platform has raised an undisclosed amount of angel funding led by angel investor & businessman Ravi Agarwal.

Incorporated in 2013 by Om Agarwal, Easy Coach helps college aspirants to get into their desired college by providing dedicated help from admission experts through an open marketplace.

Through online process, the startup helps college aspirants in writing of application to various colleges and mentoring them for specific exams in universities such as Harvard, Stanford and Colombia.

Besides, it also helps financially disadvantaged students by connecting them with corporates to provide loans.

Speaking about Easy Coach, founder says, “The idea is to provide students with mentors from almost all universities across the US. Currently, we have managed to rope in mentors, who are alumni and alumnus from Harvard University, Stanford University and Columbia University who would guide students in writing their applications while applying, give tricks if needed and notify about the traits of that specific college.”

The company is planning to expand through tie-up with colleges in the UK, Singapore and Australia in coming two months.

Other than helping students with admission process, Eazy Coach is also looking to solve accommodation concerns. “We are looking if it is possible for a student to secure accommodation before departing from home.” said Om.
