T-Hub, in association with Intel India, has announced the top 20 startups selected for the Innovate for Digital India Challenge 2.0. These startups will be compete to participate in an 8-week accelerator program including a 4-day USMAC bootcamp, to be held from 5thDecember, 2016 at T-Hub, Hyderabad.
Recently T-Hub collaborated with Intel India, DST, MyGov and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeITY) and launched the Challenge 2.0, inviting startups to build solutions that accelerate India’s digitisation, and to commercially develop their prototypes on Intel® Architecture.
Debjani Ghosh, Vice President, Sales and Marketing Group, and Managing Director, South Asia, Intel Technology India Pvt Ltd, said “For Digital India to become a reality, we cannot rely solely on innovations that are being created in other nations because India’s problems are unique, and must be solved through local thinking. We collaborate with the government, academia, and technology ecosystem to empower makers across age groups to transform their ideas into reality.”
Of these 20 teams, 10 will get an opportunity to participate in the 8-week accelerator program, which starts with a 4-day bootcamp with USMAC and Global Business Inroads (GBI).
The 8-week accelerator program, taking place in T-Hub, will include multiple interventions with GBI, mentor sessions and two residential sessions of 1-week duration each.
The selected startups are:
Hyderabad-based Manjeera Digital Systems, Ahmedabad-based Oizom Instruments, Bengaluru-based Shanmukha Innovations, Hyderabad-based Gayam Motor Works, Ahmedabad-based Matrubharti, Pune-based AllizHealth, Delhi-based iotrek technology, Kochi-based NYOKAS, Delhi-based CacheFi, Hyderabad-based Cyrrup, Kochi-based NeuroTech, Delhi-based iNICU and iCHR, Chandigarh-based E-DeWeeder, Guwahati-based Crimatrix, Hyderabad-based International Nerd Solutions, Hyderabad-based Banyan Sustainable Waste Management, Hyderabad-based Waste Ventures India, Chandigarh-based Thyrometer, Chennai-based MEEP, and Hyderabad-based Erfolg Life Sciences.
Of the 10 selected startups, three would be selected for a 2-week visit to T-Global Access, Silicon Valley, in March 2017, for additional mentoring from experts in the Valley.
The remaining 10 startups, of the selected 20, will get an opportunity to participate in a 1-week ISEED bootcamp, which aims to provide the necessary support and training to grow tech products into market–ready ventures giving a unique selling proposition. This will also be conducted at T-Hub.
