Delhi-based art & design focused personal accessory maker, DailyObjects, has raised about $1.3 Mn (INR 9 Cr.) in a funding round from Unilazer Ventures.

The round also saw participation from redBus co-founder, Phanindra Sama and Lenskart CEO & co-founder, Peyush Bansal.

Founded in 2012 by Pankaj Garg, DailyObjects, is an online store which is offering users with comprehensive range of Smartphone and Tablet accessories targeted towards upwardly mobile middle/upper-higher class. It offers over 5000 designer and customisable smartphone cases and laptop sleeves for over 100 models of global brands.

“This funding will allow us to launch many new lines of personal products that combine functionality with incredible style; allowing Indian consumers’ unique means of self-expression that no other brand provides,” said Pankaj Garg, founder at DailyObjects.

He further added that this round of funding will also help them to foray into brick and mortar sales, both independently and through tie ups with premium retailers.

Besides, this will also enable DailyObjects to build out its team & infrastructure to cement its current position as the leader in the market for smartphone cases, predicted to be worth INR 1500 Cr. by 2020.

With over 5000 works from 62 artists across 25 countries, DailyObjects built up India’s largest art collection of its kind. The company constantly adds new artists and designs that helps the portal to attract more customers. Currently, it is selling more than 15000 cases across India every month, with revenue of about INR 2.25 Cr.

Prior to this, the company had raised funds from Indian venture capital firm SeedFund.
