Noida and Singapore-based edutainment startup, ConveGenius, has raised about $300K (INR 2 Cr.) in pre-series A round of funding via Enablers.
Founded in 2013 by Jairaj Bhattacharya and Shashank Pandey, ConveGenius, is an ed-tech company aimed at making learning – affordable, fun and rewarding by focusing on data driven innovations and the power of socially driven learning content. The company is ‘mobile-only’, and offers products focused on education and skill development via smartphones by using gamification, adaptive analytics and intelligent content aggregation.
ConveGenius has reached out to over 50,000 students in last one and half year via their products. ‘The aim is to provide access to educational content and opportunities such as scholarships, career counselling and jobs to the masses by building products that are agnostic to vernaculars and the paying capacity of our users” said Jairaj Bhattacharya, co-founder ConveGenius.
The raised funding will be utilised for product enhancements and expansion of its technology & content aggregation team.
The company has recently launched its app Battle of Minds which will cater to requirements of all competitive exams and assessment based skill improvements for multiple segments. Their B2B product CG-Slate for children in pre-school and primary will also be launched within the next quarter.
