Hyderabad-Based Mobile Assistance App, Bucker, Gets Funding From 50K Ventures, Others

Hyderabad-based Bucker, a mobile assistance app, has raised an undisclosed amount in a seed round funding from a group of angel investors based out of Hyderabad and Silicon Valley. The round saw participation from Hyderabad-based 50K Ventures, Munish Jauhar of Indian Angel Network (IAN), Pulkit Jain of Vedantu and Rohit Narang of Singapore-based 314 Capital.

The startup was founded by IIIT alumni, Ravneet Singh, Vennela Miryala and Nikhar Agarwal two months back.

As a mobile assistance app, it provides smart solution to reduce the extra time spent on searching and comparing deals across multiple apps. The app pro-actively provides all the information a user needs – a single tap away by pulling data across apps and integrating with them.

The app has currently enabled Cabs (Uber, Ola, TaxiForSure); Food Ordering (FoodPanda, Faasos, Swiggy, Tinyowl) and Recharge (PayTM, Mobikwik, Freecharge).

It works in the background recognising users’ need and provides them with simple pop-up on the screen as a way to access all assistance it can offer in that context.

With the funding, the startup plans to expand its user base and introduce new features. It currently integrates over 15 apps and has over 9,000 users.
