Job credentialing platform, Aspiring Minds has announced that it has acquired a mobile software development company, Mizcoin.
The acquisition will bring Mizcoin’s team together with Aspiring Minds’ product research and development team to enhance Aspiring’s mobile product strategy.
Mizcoin, led by Inder Kumar, Nikhil Aneja and Sunny Choudhary has been involved in building mobile applications for various platforms across Android, iOS, and Windows with strong capabilities in gaming as well.
Sunny Choudhary, co founder, Mizcoin said, “We believe in Aspiring Minds vision of revolutionizing job matching using assessments and credentials and are excited to become part of this vision. We are confident that our well developed capabilities in mobile technology should add great value to this product story.”
Started in 2007 by Himanshu Aggarwal and Varun Aggarwal, Aspiring minds is an employability evaluation and certification company that helps institutions and companies choose the right candidate. The company claims that more than 2 million candidates have taken the cloud-based, data-driven test, resulting in 400,000 job matches and awarding of millions of credentials.
Aspiring Minds’ co founder and CEO, Himanshu Aggarwal, said that Mizcoin will extend the company’s current mobile product capabilities exponentially to reach more job seekers.
With an aim to expand into China, US and the Middle East markets, Aspiring Minds announced an investment of over $6 Mn in research and technology innovation this year.
