Walking on the conduit of finer ecommerce players like Flipkart, Snapdeal and Paytm, it is now ecommerce platform AskmeBazaar that has started an online community for sellers.
The company has launched a new portal by the name ‘Grow with Us’ through which it is aiming at engaging sellers on social media.
Under its initiative, the merchants will be able to interact and share insights on their experience of doing business online.
AskMeBazaar CEO Kiran Murthi said, “The community portal is a platform where sellers from across the country explain how they managed various aspects of commerce to grow their business online.”
The platform is supposed to be a collaborative community for sellers to connect, interact, share and gather valuable insights about their learnings, experience, best practices, trends, challenges, etc.
Ecommerce players like Paytm, Shopclues and Snapdeal have sellers’ community which help sellers build their catalogue online or learn to grow their business, with the help of other selected sellers guiding them.
However, Murthi emphasised that AskMeBazaar identified that there is no platform where sellers can interact with each other, compare notes or share their growth stories. “In our interactions with small businesses, we realised the need for such a platform and that is how we came up with this idea,” he added.
AskMeBazaar claims to be adding more than 500 sellers per day to its current base of over 65,000 merchants.
