In a bid to enhance the online ordering experience for customers, Zomato has announced that it is integrating Paytm Wallet to enable seamless payments as customers now will be able to pay for their food orders on Zomato through the Paytm Wallet.
This is in addition to the existing payment options i.e. credit/debit cards, net banking and cash on delivery.
We have reported in July, that company has enabled online transactions allowing people to pay via credit cards, debit card and other net banking options. It had partnered with PayPal for enabling online payments.
Paytm Wallet is the first mobile wallet to be integrated into Zomato and adds to the in-app cashless payment experience for the consumer.
Earlier this week Zomato announced strategic investments in last mile delivery players Grab and Pickingo and also partnered with Delhivery to improve the last-mile delivery experience for users placing orders online on Zomato.
Zomato currently offers in-depth information for over 1.4 Mn restaurants across 22 countries. Apart from restaurant search and discovery, Zomato has expanded its offering to include in-app Cashless Payments, Online Ordering, Table Reservations, and a Point-of-Sale system.
