Startup 101: Here Are Essentials To Build Your Startup Tribe

Great things in business are never done by one person— Steve Jobs

As an American business magnate and investor, Jobs was the chairman, chief executive officer, and co-founder of Apple Inc — one of the few trillion dollar companies in the world. With decades of entrepreneurship experience, Jobs knows what he is saying when it comes to building businesses and teams.

The entrepreneur might see a dream but it is ultimately a team that turns that vision into reality. A strong team breaks the vision into short-term goals and works towards making it a reality.

From meeting like-minded people to form a company with, to hiring their first employee, and then the 100th employee, team culture is something every founder puts a lot of thought into.

In this week’s Startup 101 series, Pallav Nadhani, co-founder and CEO of FusionCharts, talks about the qualities it takes to make a strong community – a tribe with a common belief.

Nadhani shares that this feeling of being part of a tribe comes from a shared conviction of doing something new in the field they are passionate about.

“They are risk takers, they are guys who can get the stuff done, and all of them want to have fun together and learn together,” he added.

Guy Kawasaki, an entrepreneur, author and the chief executive of Garage Technology Ventures once said- “Ideas are easy, implementation is hard.”  For the implementation of your startup idea, you first need to find a tribe which shares your belief.
