Mixer By Inc42: Delhi Startup Ecosystem Kicks Off 2020 With A Night Of Networking

Sinha was just one among 100s of ecosystem enablers, founders and startup investors at Inc42’s first event for 2020, Mixer by Inc42. Time and again, we have tried to help the Indian startup ecosystem through many initiatives. Helping entrepreneurs and investors break the monotony and stressful routine of every day is just one of the objectives. Mixer by Inc42 is also about helping the startup community broaden its network and meet new people who may be the right catalyst for their startups.

On a crisp winter evening, we hosted Mixer by Inc42 on January 9 at The Olive Bar & Kitchen, Mehrauli.

The event was hosted with a no-agenda theme and helped founders and investors unwind and start off lively conversations over food, music and cocktails. The incredible ambience of Olive Bar & Kitchen acted as a perfect setting to help everyone relax, unwind and focus on networking, but with no pressure to strike deals.

With over 120 members from the Indian startup ecosystem attending, it was a great way to expand the network and for many, it was the first experience of Inc42 events.

This included names such as Utkarsh Sinha, managing director, Bexley Advisors, Akshay Chaturvedi, founder and CEO, Leverage Edu, Ankit Mehrotra, cofounder and CEO, Dineout, Sairee Chahal, founder and CEO, Sheroes, Shivam Dang, startup ecosystem evangelist, AWS and others.

Talking to Inc42 at the Mixer, Samyak Chaudhary, associate, Stride Ventures, said, “It’s a great event. I got to meet a lot of startups and did a lot of networking. I hope that I continue to be a part of such events by Inc42, it is a great learning experience.”

Mixer by Inc42 started off in 2015 and since then it has only gotten bigger and better. With every new edition, the event has grown in both numbers and stature. These events have helped our attendees meet people who are otherwise extremely hard to catch and make bonds that go beyond work and professional requirements.

Previous Mixers have helped many founders and investors strike impromptu conversations with no pressure to impress people. The last Mixer event in Bengaluru saw over 75 startups and investors coming together, and the turnout in Delhi was much bigger. But there’s more to come.

We are heading to Bengaluru next to host our first event of 2020 in India’s startup capital, Pulse42, Inc42’s signature tech party.
