TouchTalent Raises Rs 4 Cr In Funding Round Led By Saif Partners And Group Of Angel Investors

Touchtalent, a community of creative individuals has raised over Rs 4 Cr in seed funding led by Saif Partners and angel investors such as Deep Kalra of MakeMyTrip and Sachin and Binny Bansal of Flipkart. According to reports, 15 angel investors have invested in the startup through online fundraising platform LetsVenture.

We had earlier reported about this development, but however at that time company had denied commenting on this.

Founded in 2012, TouchTalent has people from over 100 countries who share their creativity (art) under 19 different categories including Painting, Photography, Sketching, Design, 3D Art, Music, Comics, and Sculpting etc. on the platform. Currently, TouchTalent has about 50,000 content creators with a user base of about 300,000 which is expected to touch 2 Mn by the end of this year. 

The startup is presently monetizing via its premium subscription model. Everyday users from more than 100 countries visit TouchTalent.com to share their creative content in visual, textual audio and video formats, under various categories such as Photography, Painting, Sketching, Sculpting, Digital Art, 3D Art, Poetry, Literature, Videos, Animation and Music amongst others.

It will be considering for its Series A round of funding by the end of the current fiscal.

Last month, LetsVenture had raised Rs 4 Cr in angel funding led by a group of angel investors including Eka Software cofounder Manav Garg, InMobi cofounder Naveen Tewari , angel investor Rajan Anandan and Sharad Sharma, cofounder of software product industry think tank iSpirt. Earlier this year, Frrole and fan merchandise ecommerce startup Bluegape has also raised funding through LetsVenture. 

TouchTalent is founded by Ankit Prasad and Mohd Wassem.
