Inc42 is all set to host the fourth edition of the D2C Summit, a two-day virtual event, today and tomorrow i.e. September 1 and 2. The summit will bring together more than 70 leading minds in the ecommerce space, including D2C founders, ecommerce enablers and investors, to discuss the latest trends, growth drivers and challenges in the D2C ecosystem.

Fireside Chats: Revealing The Success Mantras Of High-Growth Brands

Are you curious to know how brands like boAt and Nykaa have written their success stories? At the summit, Aman Gupta, the brain behind boAt, will share his insights into how boAt scaled to become a $1.4 Bn audio and wearable brand.

Adwaita Nayar, the cofounder of Nykaa and CEO of Nykaa Fashion, will also share Nykaa’s winning formula that helped it build a curation-led marketplace. You can also hear from Nandita Sinha, the CEO of Myntra, and Manish Chowdhary, the cofounder of WOW Skin Science, on their strategies for creating brands that capture the hearts and minds of consumers.

These fireside chats are designed to give all D2C brands a sneak peek into what the top founders in the Indian ecommerce ecosystem did to build billion-dollar brands.

Panel Discussions: Enhancing CX & Navigating The Festive Rush

The festive season is just round the corner and the rise in demand, fluctuating orders and logistical glitches can get a bit too overwhelming for young brands. 

At the D2C summit, panellists Prashant Parameswaran, the MD & CEO of Tata Soulfull; Amit Dutta, the CEO of Le Marche; Avnish Anand, the cofounder & COO of CaratLane, and Nitya Sharma, the cofounder & CEO of Simpl, will discuss how D2C brands can capitalise on high demand amid the festive rush. 

As speakers, Ajay Rao, the founder and CEO of Emiza; Wonderchef’s founder and CEO Ravi Saxena; and Tarun Joshi, the founder & CEO of IGP.com & Joint Ventures, among others, will also decode how brands can master demand and supply dynamics during the high demand season

Not just this, catch Ramneek Khurana, the cofounder of Lenskart; Gurpiar Sibia, the head of customer engineering at Google Cloud; and Ajit Narayanan, CPTO, Licious to understand how emerging technologies like generative AI, AR/VR and ML can help ecommerce brands optimise costs and enhance the customer experience. 

There will also be sessions on how D2C brands can master customer loyalty and navigate the retention puzzle with industry experts such as Vanda Ferrao, the CMO of WOW Skin Science, and Sonalika Sarna, the head of digital solutions at Salesforce. 

The summit will host as many as 10 panel discussions, propelling dozens of speakers to talk about some of the hottest trends, crippling roadblocks and opportunities for homegrown D2C brands and the ones that have crossed the Indian borders.
