Tectotron helps startups to list their products on its website, helps market their product, and also ensures last-mile delivery. It aims to bridge the gap between people looking for innovative products and startups and SMBs manufacturing them and having a low turnout rate, when selling independently.

The platform caters to an audience that’s looking for something other than the ordinary and has an eye for innovative tech products. Some of the most popular products on its website include a dual sim adapter for smartphones, including iPhones, called piece, a pocket scanner that can convert any hard copy into instant word document or excel sheet, foldable and washable shoes called Skinners, drones, smart watches, lightmode helmets, wireless lamps, 3D pens, AR e-learning for kids, VR goggles, hover-boards etc.

Tectotron aims to connect Indian startups to market outside India as well to enhance their business. As per an official statement, it has more than 30K likes on its FB page and a good reach on other social media portals. It has also exhibited its products at various events and institutions like HITEX Hyderabad, IIIT, JNTU etc.

“For both new and existing businesses, marketing is a battle. Ensuring your customers are aware of and interested in your category are challenges that concern every business owner. That’s where Tectotron comes in to save the day. We take up the task of promoting products/services being sold to the right customers through successful online and offline marketing campaigns,” says Teja Reddy, founder of Tectoron.

It also claims to have around 1.5 Lakh monthly visitors, with 3.5 Lakh monthly page views. It has tied up with more than 300 startups till date. The startup currently offers 40 products listed on its website falling under different categories like electronics, lifestyle, kids, IOT, and home decor. It is also planning to expand to other categories like fashion in the near future.

Working along the same lines is Amazon’s Launchpad programme, that came to India in December last year. The move is aimed at helping Indian startups to increase their customer base in India and abroad. Tectotron claims to provide a better solution that Amazon to startups in terms of marketing efforts.

The Indian ecommerce has five strong contenders right now: Amazon, Paytm, Snapdeal, ShopClues, and Flipkart. In this saturated market Tectotron is playing the innovation card and caters to the audience that values early adoption over anything else.
