There were days when people used to write to ministers talking about their grievances and were responded back which later faded. Now, our tech-savvy Prime Minister is bringing those old times back by ‘Narendra Modi Mobile App’. Previous governments have tried incorporating e-governance but all they could manage was hollow promises which were never fructified. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken it to a step further with M-governance.

Narendra Modi’s mobile app is available on Play store and has quite neat UI as compared to other government apps which usually had a sluggish interface.

With just one click the interactive ‘Narendra Modi’ app allows user to connect with the PM. Not only this it also provides a unique opportunity to receive messages and emails  directly from Prime Minister. The app has a feature which allows users to contribute and earn badges through to-do tasks.

One can tune in and listen to the various editions of the programme, read his blogs and know more about him in the Biography Section. App keeps users updated with latest day-to-day activities as well.

How It works?

  1. Working around the app is easy as all it requires it to swipe up and the user is greeted with the following welcome screen.
  2. After logging into the app, a news feed is displayed with various updates from PM. One can read Prime Minister’s blogs.
  3. Not only this, the app claims that it gives user an opportunity to send and receive messages and emails directly from Narendra Modi. The option of writing to PM takes users to this web page at pmindia.gov.in.
  4. There is also an option to contribute and earn ‘badges’ through to-do tasks. The app enlists a detailed information on initiatives and achievements of the Union Government, including an ‘infographics’ section.

The move towards taking governance on a mobile platform has been received well by the masses and giving a chance to people to interact with him and share ideas and suggestions.
