Homegrown IT giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has unveiled a new platform that will help aggregate multiple GenAI services and LLM models into a single interface and enable businesses to adopt next gen technologies at scale, lower costs and within regulatory frameworks.
The platform called TCS AI WisdomNextTM is designed to remove barriers for customers to develop and launch business solutions, allowing for real-time experimentation across vendor, internal and open-source LLM models, the company said in a statement.
Tata Group-owned TCS is one of India’s largest tech giants, which offers IT services, consulting and business solutions to its clients across the globe.
In the initial testing phase, the Mumbai-based company said it has already leveraged this tool for its customers to create value for them and build prototypes.
The company further said that the TCS AI WisdomNext will help firms choose the right models and simplify the design of new business solutions using GenAI tools, while also enabling businesses to reuse pre-existing components to accelerate the design.
“TCS AI WisdomNext helps our customers take advantage of GenAI to unlock the full potential of their data, drive greater business innovation and efficiency and gain a competitive edge,” said Siva Ganesan, head of AI.Cloud Unit at TCS.
“Customers appreciate the newly launched platform’s ability to help navigate a diverse and quickly evolving AI marketplace and rapidly compose ‘art-of-the-possible’ solutions. We are solving business problems and helping our customers redefine what it means to harness the power of GenAI,” he added.
Technology service providers are in the heat of the GenAI race to adopt, innovate and customise tools and operations, which would result in simplified tasks and enhanced services.
For instance, in May, Wipro Limited announced its partnership with Microsoft to launch a suite of cognitive assistants for financial services powered by generative artificial intelligence, called Wipro GenAI Investor Intelligence, Wipro GenAI Investor Onboarding and Wipro GenAI Loan Origination.
This suite is aimed to provide financial professionals with deep market intelligence, relevant as well as timely information on investment products and investor behavior among other provisions.
As per Inc42’s report, India is home to more than 70 GenAI startups with a majority based out in Bengaluru. Of these, 81% of the GenAI products innovated by the companies are not limited to any specific industry or sector.
