Keeping our promise to bring the best, as a media partner Inc42 brings “Startup Internship Fair” by Entrepreneurship Cell of Delhi Technological University (DTU).
Startup internship fair, a part of E-Summit 2015, brings the opportunity to hire skilled interns from various streams and colleges. DTU (formerly known as Delhi College of Engineering) brings an internship fair for the startup fraternity to choose the best talent openly on February 15, 2015 at their campus. The tickets can be bought online.
The idea is brought up by the entrepreneurship cell of DTU to serve dual purpose for both startup and student fraternity. The notion is to develop synergy between the potential employees and startup ecosystem to solve the challenge of team building and appropriate talent for the startup venture.
Since the startups are originated from minimalist capital focused on their development and growth they have been struggling to find appropriate talent as they are inept to offer big packages in spite of an unlimited presence of job portals and HR recruitment firms.
GenY is aiming at a destination where they are offered challenging work to expose their skills and bring the best out in them and come out of the daily monotonous office work. The startup fraternity offers them space to be themselves.
The fair will see Startups interacting to the students through Speed Interview.
Startup Internship Fair will be followed by ‘Startup Investor Meet’ where startups participating in SIF will get an opportunity to pitch their startup ideas and get funding from visiting investors and incubators. LetsVenture and Indian Angel Network have confirmed their presence at the venue. Starups can register online by February 12, 2015.
Step by Step Guide To Apply For internship
- A list of all the startups offering internships will be made available to the students.
- Interested students would register for the fair online and select the Startups in order of their preference.
- A speed interview will be held on the spot.
- The ones selected for the internship would be intimated by the evening of the same day
