Startups are good at marketing and they try to leverage occasion as an avenue to promote their brands, be it traditional Indian festivals, New Year’s, or even occasions like Valentine’s Day. By leveraging these opportunities they try to connect with masses which actually helps them create or expand their brand identity.

With the Valentine’s week creating a buzz around, number of startups started using the opportunity to promote their brands and to garner more customers. While major ecommerce platforms are offering discounts to customers, cab services like Ola, Uber and Meru, etc. have promotional discounts for the occasion.

One of the startups that caught our eye this Valentine’s day is food-tech startup InnerChef. The main reason being, the founders and the team at InnerChef decided to spread love and show their support to the startup community. InnerChef decided to celebrate and spread the spirit of Valentine’s week with different startups ahead of its Indulge Valentine’s carnival.

As a part of the program, the founders Rajesh Sawhney and Bal DiGhent along with the InnerChef team sent their signature lemon cake to over 100 startups in Delhi, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai and Chennai to spread the love.

When it comes to startups, how can Inc42 be not part of it? Yes, we decided to partner with InnerChef to spread some #startuplove!

Founder Rajesh Sawhney said, “All startups are working very passionately towards solving some of the biggest world challenges and #startuplove is our way of celebrating this common ground that we all share. The beauty of celebrating #startuplove is that we are sharing it with both – passionate fledgling startups, as well as iconic companies that at some point of time were young startups and laid the foundation of startup landscape in India.”

The event will host food trucks, games, desserts to woo visitor’s sweet tooth, and a string of performances to keep them grooving. To get further details click here.
