Today we announced the 10 startups that made it to the second edition of StartupPulse Bangalore. The startups went through mentoring sessions throughout the day. Mentors with expertise in different domains including Marketing, Sales, Fundraising, UI/UX, Hiring etc. gave these startups one-on-one mentoring sessions.

Based on the mentors feedback, we are now announcing the winners of the StartupPulse Bangalore second edition:

Quicko

Founders: Vishvajit Sonagara

Founded In: March 2015

Funding: N/A

Quicko helps individuals and businesses, plan, prepare and file their Income Tax Returns without any professional help. Quicko defines itself as the TurboTax of India. The startup has an industry leading UI/UX, completely built using Google’s new material design principles.

LingosMio

Founders: Alok Arora

Founded In: June 2014

Funding: N/A

LingosMio is an online platform that offers language learning through fun and interactive courses. The platform does not merely focus on studying grammar and stereotypical vocabulary based on small phrases. It offers a comprehensive learning experience through understanding the thought process of language learning. LingosMio offers courses for english speakers to learn Spanish, Hindi, Mandarin and courses for Urdu Spanish, Portuguese and Hindi speakers to learn English.

Pipes

Founders: Vinay Anand and Siddharth Goliya

Founded In: October 2014

Funding: N/A

Pipes is a news aggregator that customizes news based on consumption patterns of an individual’s personal interest. If the app is used for just two hours it will start personalizing the news for the user. With deep learning & NLP integrated at the root of Pipes, it truly is as artificially intelligent as a human.

Shopkirana

Founders: Deepak Dhanotiya, Sumit Ghorawat and Tanutejas Saraswat

Founded In: December 2014

Funding: N/A

Shopkirana empowers Indian retailers through its M-distribution app, which helps connect the retailers directly with the suppliers. It also aims to launch great retailer focused innovative products to empower them with technology.

GoBOLT

Founders: Parag Aggrawal, Sumit Sharma and Naitik Baghla

Founded In: July 2015

GoBOLT is a tech logistics company operating in Long Haul & Short Hauls which aims at creating value for its customers through disintermediation, increased asset utilization and extensive use of technology in the transportation industry.

These final five startups will tomorrow pitch at the Matrix Partners office to the group of investors for fundraising.
