Last week, German airline Lufthansa, along with the Delhi-NCR chapter of non-profit supporting startup The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), successfully hosted the third edition of its Startup Expo.

The event, which was aimed at providing support to startups, was attended by more than 19K delegates from across Indian cities, including investors, business experts, apart from nearly 500 startup exhibitors.

Wolfgang Will, Senior Director, South Asia, Lufthansa Group Airlines, said, “The overwhelming response to StartUp Expo has led to its exponential growth over the past three years into what is today India’s largest ecosystem for startup success.”

Further, NASSCOM Center of Excellence – IoT in India also hosted its 37th edition of FISITA 2018 World Automotive Congress, which revolved around the theme ‘Disruptive Technologies for Affordable and Sustainable Mobility.’

At the event, experts from the industry shared their knowledge and insights on advancements in new technologies via technical presentations.

The Nashik Information Technology Association (NITA), a non-profit organisation, also hosted StartupFest 2018 last week, which was aimed at promoting the startup culture in Nashik.

IoT India Congress 2018

The third edition of IoT Congress is being organised this week in partnership with the Exhibitions India Group, a trade promotion organisation, to bring an immersive view of the Internet of Things (IoT) and its future.

In this event, technologies such as AI and blockchain, which have the potential to transform businesses, will be discussed for proposed applications in sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, telecom, standards, media, and smart cities.

Further, the future of a  primary healthcare centre enabled by IoT will be showcased at the healthcare live experience zone.

Digital Money 2.0 Conference

The Payments Council of India (PCI) and the Internet And Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) are organising the 11th edition of the Digital Money 2.0 Conference. Participants at the event will get the opportunity to learn about digital payments from experts. The audience will also get to attend talks on the pros and cons of adopting digital payments, payment trends after the implementation of revised guidelines, and much more.

Global Mobile Conference 2018

The Global Mobile Conference (GMC) 2018 was conceptualised by Rajasthan-based consultancy company The Brand Cocktail.  It is being organised as a part of Delhi International Trade Fair. The event aims to be one of the best platforms for the mobile industry and will bring in experts and stalwarts to share their knowledge about the industry. Mobile startups and companies will also get an opportunity to showcase at the expo.

The event will feature technologies related to home automation, video content, virtual/augmented reality, and machine learning. There will also be panel discussions around technology (developing scalable futuristic mobile products), marketing, funding and investment in the mobile space and the future of mobile tech.
