Last week, VC Dinner by Inc42 was successfully hosted in Mumbai at Thirsty City 127, Lower Parel. The event saw the participation of over 30 attendees and was supported by AWS (Knowledge Partner), NetApp Excellerator (Supporting Partner), and Cherrytin (Gifting Partner).
Some of the influencers present at the event included Devneet Bajaj of Kalaari Capital, Nikhil Vora founder of Sixth Sense Ventures, Niren Shah MD of Norwest Venture Partners, Rohit Chokhani from White Unicorn Ventures, Sameer Nath from Iron Pillar, Sandeep Murthy from Lightbox Ventures, Sanjay Mehta of Centre Of Recognition & Excellence (Super Angel), and Vikram Gupta founder of IvyCap Ventures.
Meanwhile, the third edition of Inc42’s BIGShift was hosted in Kochi on August 22. The event saw the participation of over 50 attendees. BIGShift is an Inc42’s initiative to discuss the state of the startup ecosystem in Tier 2 cities with startup founders, entrepreneurs, investors and government officials will come together to discuss the state of the ecosystem in Tier 2 cities through dedicated sessions, keynotes, a panel discussion.

Scaling Up Start-up Businesses
Start-up Punjab and YES Bank are together hosting ‘Scaling Up Start-up Businesses’ event in Chandigarh. As part of a strategic partnership with Start-up Punjab, YES BANK has signed an MoU with the Government of Punjab to enable innovations. Further, YES Bank will also extend the benefits of its dedicated banking proposition for startups YES: Head-Startup program and industry connect program YES SCALE, to help entrepreneurs benefit from the bank’s innovative products.
This event aims to create a platform for upcoming entrepreneurs to engage with key ecosystem players and professional advisers, Government stakeholders helping them scale.

BIGShift, Indore
As part of the fourth leg of the latest edition of BIGShift, Inc42 will bring all the key local ecosystem stakeholders together over the course of an evening to celebrate innovation in the budding startup hub of Indore. Startup founders, entrepreneurs, investors and government officials will come together to discuss the state of the ecosystem in Tier 2 cities through dedicated sessions, keynotes, a panel discussion.
The highlight of the event is the BIGShift Pitch, a platform for startups to showcase their business proposition as well as products or services in front of the stalwarts from the startup community from each location. Any early-stage startup based in any of the BIGShift host cities can apply to showcase their business proposition at the event.
