Last week, Inc42 successfully hosted the eight edition of its founders meetup with the participation of 30 early stage founders and the cofounder of the tea cafe chain Chaayos, Nitin Saluja. He talked all about taking a leap of faith, learning from Tata Cha, showing the importance of ESOPs, retaining employees and so much more on August 8 at Inc42 head office.
The F.O.U.N.D.E.R.S. Meetup is a bimonthly event hosted by Inc42 to bring together startup founders and stakeholders from the Indian startup ecosystem on one floor for a fun evening. The primary objective of the meetup is to introduce founders to other entrepreneurs because supporting each other for the growth is one of the fundamentals of Indian startup ecosystem.
As we step into a new week, here’s a list of new and upcoming events:
BIGShift, Kochi
As part of the second leg of the latest edition of BIGShift, Inc42 will bring all the key local ecosystem stakeholders together over the course of an evening to celebrate innovation in the budding startup hub of Nagpur. Startup founders, entrepreneurs, investors and government officials will come together to discuss the state of the ecosystem in Tier 2 cities through dedicated sessions, keynotes, a panel discussion. The third edition of BIGShift will take place in Kochi on August 22.
The highlight of the event is the BIGShift Pitch, a platform for startups to showcase their business proposition as well as products or services in front of the stalwarts from the startup community from each location. Any early stage startup based in any of the BIGShift host cities can apply to showcase their business proposition at the event.

Morning Pitch is a platform hosted by Deloitte. This platform helps start-ups form business alliances and partnerships with large corporations, corporate venture capital, and venture capital firms.
The event originates from Japan where it has served as a similar platform for over five years, resulting in hundreds of business alliances and tens of M&A’s and IPO’s. After successfully hosting five editions of Morning Pitch in Bengaluru, this will be the seventh in a series of Morning Pitch events and the second one held in Delhi/NCR. The event goal is to mobilise Indian and international corporations and investors in India to further accelerate the innovation by fostering business alliances.

VC Dinner by Inc42
