Last week, the latest edition of TechStars startup weekend was successfully hosted, which saw participation from entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs who came together to connect, learn and validate their startup ideas and turn them into a real business.
The participating entrepreneurs who met on the first day had discussed their plans and divided themselves into eight different groups. The groups then worked with their mentors and came up with a startup idea. On the second day, the groups had to go out and meet their potential customer, understand their needs and then set up a business model. On the final day, the group’s pitch before the jury and the top three ideas were selected as winners.
The latest edition of Rising was hosted on the occasion of Women’s Day which saw a gathering of women working in artificial intelligence and analytics field.
The conference saw participation from women data science leaders from across the domain. The forum also offered an opportunity for exchange of building a better idea for women participating in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and also highlighted the achievements and career interests of women in data science.
Meanwhile, the Asian Business Leaders Conclave was also successfully hosted last week. The event covered important aspects of intra-regional Asian ties, the changing equation and dynamics of ASEAN, digitization and its impact on Asian business and the case for Asian corporates to come together to work towards establishing Asia as the silver lining in the changing world economic dynamics.
The third edition of the event which was based on the theme of “Rethinking Asia” highlighted new age businesses and business leaders and their vision on how to transform the Asian economy with a greater focus on innovation, R&D, sustainable balanced growth in infrastructure and revamping the existing industrial hotbeds.
