This is Inc42’s latest edition of what startup events are coming up in this week.

Business is perhaps that unifying language that transcends borders and differences of all kinds and deeds. This is the reason why Indian startups and other tech companies are continually finding motivation and encouragements all over the world.

Amidst an ongoing talk between Flipkart and Walmart deal, there is also a rising contention from millennials who look up to Sachin Bansal over the probable sell. But as Flipkart continues to add products in its cart, one can hardly complain because if business truths be spoken, a successful startup should also have a smart exit strategy.

As weeks move by, one event after another, the business sector in India is in a discourse over its global participation. International investors are interested in India as much as international companies are launching India-focussed programmes and products. Tim Cook announces for India-centric products while international digital payment features from Facebook, Whatsapp (and even possibly Instagram will do so too), enter India.

Therefore, this week guarantees as much excitement in the startup world as the previous days.

Keeping up with our consistent efforts, to bridge the gap between Indian startup ecosystem and policy makers along with industry stalwarts, here are the two startup events that you can look forward to for participation this week!

Upcoming AMA With Gautam Sinha, CEO of Times Internet

In this #17 episode of our AMA show, we are connecting you to the visionary leader, Gautam Sinha, CEO of Times Internet, whose long and outstanding career is an inspiration for the entire Indian startup ecosystem.

A scientist, engineer, entrepreneur and a transformational leader, Gautam helped evolve the Times Internet from a media company to a Digital Product Company, which now has over 39 Digital Products which reaches over 270 Million people every month.

Since joining Time Internet in 2007 as the CTO and later taking over as the CEO, Gautam was instrumental in shaping the culture of Times Internet to build a conglomerate that reaches more than 50% of India’s online population.

We’ll be hosting Gautam Live on Inc42’s AMA show, on May 9 at 3 PM where you can directly ask him your questions.

Don’t forget to tune in and you can also drop your questions for Gautam in the comments section below.
