On November 16, Inc42 hosted its flagship event, The Ecosystem Summit, where Suresh Prabhu, the minister of commerce and industry and civil aviation released the flagship report ‘The State Of Indian Startup Ecosystem 2018’.

30 speakers and 250 delegates, came together at the event to discuss and share insights on the startup ecosystem.

During the event, many sessions were organised to discuss the present and future of the startup ecosystem. Further, there was a fireside chat about the ecosystem between Inc42 CEO Vaibhav Vardhan and MakeMyTrip CEO Deep Kalra, where they had a candid chat about what it means to be an entrepreneur before and after the term “startup” was coined.

Panel discussions on the rise of unicorns in India and venture capital investing in the country were also held during the event.

To further grow its niche on understanding a state’s startup ecosystem, Kerala Startup Ecosystem report was launched in a joint initiative by TiE Kerala, the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), and Inc42 Datalabs, the data and research wing of Inc42. It was launched by well-known Indian businessman SD Shibulal, cofounder, former CEO, and MD of Infosys Ltd and co-founder of Axilor Ventures Ltd.

Co-Founder Meet – November Bengaluru Edition

Indian Startups is organising the November 2018 edition of its ‘Co-founder Meet’ to help startup founders find their cofounders. The event is aimed at helping aspiring entrepreneurs build their own team and find cofounders with complementary skills to help build a strong company.

The event will also be attended by all the community members, who will share their expertise and team up with others to create startups or join existing startups.

Co-founder meet is being organised across many cities and is scheduled to be hosted in Delhi on November 21, in Hyderabad on November 22 and Chennai on November 23.

NASSCOM Product Connect

NASSCOM is organising a webinar, ‘NASSCOM Product Connect: Customer Acquisition or Retention,’ to discuss some of the fundamentals of acquiring customers and what should be done to retain the existing customers.

While building great products and services is part of building a sustainable business, companies also have to invest a lot of time in acquiring and retaining customers. This webinar will aim to discuss some of effective ways to reach out to potential buyers.

The ASCENT Conclave 2018

Non-profit initiative ASCENT India Foundation, will be hosting ‘The ASCENT Conclave,’ where India’s thought leaders and innovators will share and celebrate their entrepreneurial journey.

Nearly 500 entrepreneurs are expected to attend this event.
