Last week, Inc42 successfully hosted the fourth edition of its Founders Meetup, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from several startup founders who shared their unique growth stories with the audience present at the event.

The session was led by Ashish Tulsian, who founded POSist, a SaaS-based restaurant management platform, along with his wife Sakshi Tulsian in September  2011. The platform helps restaurant owners manage their restaurants, both single as well as chains.

At the event, Tulsian also spoke about SaaS pricing and his experiences with different business models. He also shared his lessons of return on investment.

Further, NASSCOM also hosted the third edition of India FinTech Day, aimed at gaining a better understanding of the gradual changes that are being observed in the global fintech landscape.

The theme of the event was ‘Blockchain in Reimagining the Fintech Industry.’  According to experts, blockchain holds the potential to unleash a wave of innovation across industries, especially in the financial services industry.

FISITA 2018 World Automotive Congress – IoT India

NASSCOM Center of Excellence – IoT in India will be hosting the 37th edition of FISITA 2018 World Automotive Congress this week. The theme for this event will be ‘Disruptive Technologies for Affordable and Sustainable Mobility.’

The four-day event will include technical presentations; experts from the industry and academia will share their knowledge and discuss advancements in new technologies with colleagues from the global automotive fraternity.

The event will also host an exposition to enable the global automotive fraternity to showcase their products. Nearly 200 exhibitors will participate in the show.

StartUp Expo 2018

The Delhi-NCR chapter of non-profit supporting startup The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) is rolling out the third edition of its StartUp Expo in association with Lufthansa airlines. The event is aimed at bringing together the entire ecosystem to provide startups with all the support they need to help them succeed.

The one-day event is designed to bring together startups, government agencies, investors, corporates, professionals, embassies, students, support organisations, service providers, and others exploring partnering possibilities with a pool of talent across various sectors. The participants will get a chance to find Investors, learn ways to achieve success, network with experts, and much more.

Startup Weekend Mumbai

Startup Weekend, organised by search giant Google and US-based seed accelerator Techstars, will be held in Mumbai this week. In this three-day event, participants will be guided about how can they go about starting their own business from scratch.

They will learn how to pitch their ideas, build an app prototype, incorporate technology to suit the dream they aim to achieve, ensure good teamwork, and even learn how to delegate authority.

Teams will also compete with each other and present before a panel of five judges besides getting opportunities to network with mentors.

StartupFest 2018 by NITA

The Nashik Information Technology Association (NITA), a non-profit organisation, is organising StartupFest 2018 this week.
