Spark10, India’s first European startup accelerator aimed at helping early-stage startups to turn their minimum viable product (MVP) into scalable investable business, has announced the graduation of its first batch of its accelerator program.

The accelerator had selected nine Indian startups for its 13-week acceleration program earlier this year. The startups were from the mobile, Internet, smart technologies, analytics and machine learning domains.

During the demo day, each of these startups will demonstrate their business and its progress to a host of investors and other stakeholders. The pitches will be followed by Q&A sessions and a mixer.

BeHungry

Founded In: 2013

BeHungry is an online food ordering platform inspired by the thought of providing pocket friendly combo meals from restaurants nearby. While at the same time, its backend systems help restaurants optimize their operations by creating combo-meal offers based on their current inventory and push offers to customers on-the-fly. It claims to have served 12,000+ orders by June 2016.

Brisky

Founded In: 2015

Brisky is a nightlife discovery app that helps users to search places to enjoy night-life. The startup personalises and recommends the user based on their social groups’ preferences and provide information that’s relevant to deciding their plans for the evening. It boasts that 2,500 users the app within 30 days of its launch in Hyderabad. It claims to have 6500+ active users as of July 2016.

Carzip

Founded In: 2016

Carzip is a car care app connecting a network of standardized multi-brand service centers in Hyderabad with car owners helping them book any car service with the click of a button. The startup aims to bring standardization of car service experience to its users irrespective of their location in the city.

Daddys Pocket

DaddysPocket is a sponsorship marketplace for college events, where it helps college groups get easy sponsorship. It allows the users to focus on organizing the event grandly rather than spending valuable time seeking sponsorship. The college event organizer needs to signup with the startup and get interested sponsors and raise the funding required for their event’s budget.

FELTSO

Feltso is an artificial intelligence engine that can collect, collate and analyse thousands of reviews from the web and present a simplistic analysis of consumer sentiments for almost any product or service in the world. The startup launched ItsTop10.com to showcase the power of the engine, this year.

Fliona is an online fashion retail store that lets personality preferences at an affordable price. It brings real-time customizations to its customers which means they can visualize changes as they are selected. The startup also has a strong supply-chain that allows it to produce handbags at an effective cost.

OH LOOK

OhLook is a subscription-based, daily-wear fashion rental service for men that lets them look stylish by wearing a different shirt every day of the month, all at the price of a single shirt. The startup avails unlimited wardrobe which will help wear 240 different premium shirts each year, at a price equal to buying 12 shirts.

Ornativa is a fashion jewellery brand that creates designs inspired by global fashion trends to make young women look beautiful and elegant. It brings global designs to the Indian market where young, trendy and modern women look for jewellery which matches their style and dresses.

Paysack

Paysack is a mobile wallet for enterprise. Employers are provided with a single digital business account into which they can deposit payments for benefits & expenses. They can pre-categorise benefits into food, medical, fuel, etc. Whereas, employees are provided with the Paysack mobile app and a prepaid VISA card. All their expenses are automatically categorised by spend type ensuring there are no paper bills needed, ever again.

Founded by Atal Malviya, the startup accelerator is backed by Jon Bradford, considered as the godfather of European startup accelerators; Paul Smith, co-founder and managing director of UK-based Ignite 100 Accelerator;  serial entrepreneurs and private investors LN Parmi and  Rajesh Gummadapu.

The accelerator will provide seed funding support of INR 20 lakh in exchange for an 8% equity. Spark10 received a phased commitment of about $100 Mn (INR 660 Cr) from institutional investment firms and individuals. It plans to deploy this capital by investing in several startups over the next two years along with extending support of international mentors, subject matter experts, angel investors, VCs and alumni network.
