SURGE, the Indian edition of Web Summit, one of the largest tech conference of Europe, has announced the names of 40 shortlisted startups that will pitch at the event PITCH.
The startups will battle it out to be crowned as 2016’s best startup.

SURGE is being held in Bangalore. The two day event will have startups pitching in groups of eight for the first round on 23rd February. They will take to the stage for seven minutes: four minutes to pitch their idea followed by a two minute Q&A. The startups will be judged by industry veterans like Di-Ann Eisnor of Waze and Sachin Bansal of Flipkart.
Eight startups from there will be selected for the semi-final, which will be held in the second half.
Eventually, three startups will then fight it out in the final on centre stage on February 24 for the title of SURGE’s best startup.
