Automotive Service Provider ServX Is Fuelled Up & Ready To Go

Delhi-based automotive service provider startup, ServX, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Manish Gupta, chairman of the Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) group of institutions.

ServX is a marketplace for authorised automotive service providers. It will use the raised capital to create on-field operation base, for implementation of tech and expansion to other cities such as Chandigarh and Jaipur.

“ServX satisfies the basic need of mobility of human being by taking care of his vehicles in best possible manner. They have a clear vision of where they want their venture to reach, and how they want people to benefit from it along the way. The team is young, dynamic, buzzing with ideas and has shown the commitment to solve the array of problems present in the automotive industry,” said, Manish.

ServX was recently founded by Anubhav Deep, Gaurav Srivastava (both in charge of operations); Govardhan Reddy, Saransh Dhingra (responsible for technology); and Akansh Sinha dipping his toes into everything he can.

ServX allows automobile owners to choose quality authorised maintenance provider available around them and helps them find the right match for their needs. Users can book a service and track the entire process in real-time. It also offers emergency pick-ups, doorstep repairs, regular maintenance, servicing, insurance and body shop modifications, among other services.

“The services are not limited to the customers. We are also coming up with ways to help the vehicle-owners, manufacturers as well as the vendors,” said Akansh Sinha, co-founder of ServX.

Currently, the startup is operational in Delhi NCR and is getting an average of 20 to 30 orders a day.

Funder Manish, who is also a serial entrepreneur, has been with ServX since its conceptualisation and has mentored the ServX team through the process of shaping the company’s idea into a business. He also started a personal initiative called UDGAM with the objective to nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs through his expertise and resources.

Earlier in July, 2015, Bangalore-based automotive services marketplace startup, Cartisan, raised an undisclosed round of funding led by Yuvraj Singh’s YouWeCan Ventures and TaxiForSure’s co-founder Aprameya Radhakrishna.

The automotive after-market servicing business in India is pegged at about $2 bn (excluding spare parts) in 2015 according to CII-ACMA.

ServX was also the finalists of Startathon, a national event hosted by Delhi Startups team at IIT Delhi.
