Refiral Raises $330k Funding From Cogent E Services

Refiral, a SaaS-based marketing tool, has raised $330K of angel round funding from IT services firm, Cogent E Services. The capital will be used to expand product development and business/sales team.

Launched in March 2014 by two NSIT graduates, Refiral has partnerships and integrations with more than 20 e-commerce platforms and receives 100 self-signup businesses every month. In its 10 months tenure, Refiral ran campaigns for over 250 online businesses for over 10 countries.

Co-founder Anmol Batra says, ‘The Company plans to use the funds to evolve current product and scale up business operations in India as well as international markets. We would also work on developing new tools and expanding service offerings, moving towards long term vision to help businesses increase sales.’

Delhi based Refiral enables ecommerce websites run fully automated, personalized viral marketing campaigns. It helps create referral loops virally, enabling businesses to not only acquire new customers through referrals, but also increase website conversions and retain existing customers.

Co-founder Rajat Goel says, ‘I am excited to get the Cogent onboard, both the companies share the same vision and we look forward to leverage their decade-old operational and strategic expertise to grow Refiral.’

Both the companies have entered into a strategic partnership and are together building a customer support-as-a-service tool for the online businesses
