A global software company, Progress, is now inviting applications for second batch of  Progress Incubators program in India.

Launched last year, the Progress Incubator program aims to help startups that are in the early stage development to build the next generation business applications.

Progress Incubator Program (first corporate incubator in Hyderabad) is open to all startups and university students across India with a business app idea that is in a prototype stage.

The budding entrepreneurs can enroll in the six-month program by October 25, 2015 by applying here.

How Will It Work?

Progress will curate the startup applications and its senior leadership, based on which it will select top five teams with the most innovative business app ideas to take part in the incubator program.

It will provide startups with  work space and access to mentors.

As part of the program, participants will have access to Progress application development and deployment platforms and data connectivity solutions.

  • Guidance and mentorship in both technology development. and market opportunity from Progress engineers and experts.
  • Domain expertise, strategic guidance and fundraising opportunities.
  • Assistance from the Hyderabad entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Ramesh Loganathan, Vice President Products and Managing Director of Progress India, said “We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our pilot cohort program at our Incubator and the launch of its second edition. With this initiative, we are trying to provide a nurturing ground for very early stage startups which otherwise at this stage do not get any concrete support. We hope to bring our deep product engineering and product go-to-market insights to these startups.”

The first edition of the Progress incubator program was introduced as a pilot project in which five early stage startups participated including HackerBay Software Pvt Ltd, Vital Buyer Process, Risk Edge Solutions, DoConf Systems & Solutions Pvt Ltd and General Developers.

The Progress Incubator Program complements and aligns with the Telangana government’s initiative to provide support for innovation and entrepreneurship in Hyderabad, and supports the government’s efforts to make Hyderabad the startup capital of India.

The program will commence from 1st November.
