Touchtalent.com, a global community of creative people has recently raised a funding round of $250k, as per a source close to the development. We have reached out to the founders and are still awaiting a reply (though there is a hush hush noise in the industry that the amount is around 1.5cr). Also as per the Angel List the amount is $250k.

According to the source, Touchtalent has raised funding via LetsVenture platform, which brings together investors from across the globe (250+ from 15 countries), founded by serial entrepreneurs and investors, including Shanti Mohan, Sanjay Jha and Manish Singhal.

As per the company, people from over 192 countries share their creativity (art) under 19 different categories including Painting, Photography, Sketching, Design, 3D Art, Music, Comics, and Sculpting etc. on Touchtalent.

Users can login into the website Via Facebook account or the email login option, one can fill up account settings that also provide the flexibility of showing/hiding recent activities and auto-sharing on Facebook or Twitter whenever you post. Content can be shared with others across geographical boundaries, receive feedback and even can monetize content.

It has its presence in Indian Sub-Continent, and is expanding fast in South East Asia, US and Europe, with over 150K web registrations, 100k-500k Android downloads and 1.5M pageviews per month and is growing at 26% MoM.

TouchTalent was incorporated by Ankit Prasad and Mohd Wassem in April 2012 and has raised $35k in seed funding last year.
