Pitney Bowes Accelerator Program Calls Out For Startup Applications For Its Summer Batch 2015

After the successful launch of its first batch of Pitney Bowes Accelerator Program, Pitney Bowes India (PBI) is calling out startups for its summer 2015 batch. The accelerator program focuses on startups that leverage software for customer information management, mobile, data analytics, location-based services, ecommerce management and machine learning.

The first phase of selection process will take place in April 2015 and the selected startups will be informed to present before a jury panel. On the basis of interaction, the names of the selected startups for the six-month long acceleration program will be announced in May, 2015.

Pitney Bowes will shortlist the startups those who are open to be located in the PB offices either in Pune or in Noida for incubation and mentorship. The Pitney Bowes Accelerator program is part of NASSCOM’s 10,000 Startups initiative that began in 2014 by accepting applications from software startups based in India.

Announcing the entry of its second batch, Manish Choudhary, Vice President, Global Engineering and Managing Director, Pitney Bowes Software India said, “Pitney Bowes guides its clients through the complex worlds of digital and physical technologies to drive growth and create meaningful impact. Startups are vital to technology innovation and India is a hotbed of startups. The talent fostered through the Accelerator Program has the ability to develop disruptive technologies that can be scaled globally.”

PBI enrolls startups for its six month accelerator program that starts in April and October every year.This program marks a step towards innovation by leveraging technology companions and partnerships with an exciting bunch of young entrepreneurs and companies.

Earlier in last year, there were eight startups that graduated from the winter batch of Pitney Bowes.

The PB accelerator program provides training, technical and business guidance and mentoring will be from engineering & innovation leaders, and from software industry experts. Besides, the program will also be a networking platform with prospective investors.

Pitney Bowes continues to build its presence as a strong organization in India centered on innovation by becoming an incubator partner to NASSCOM’s 10,000 Startups initiative.
